Moving Into A New Home

Once you finally make the big move, the work is just beginning. You have to call the Phone company, the Electric company and the Cable company. Then once you make the calls you have to wait for them to come out. You are never lucky enough for them to be able to come out in one day. The first person you have to wait for is from the electric company, you can not do anything until you have power.

Once you get the power on, then you can make appointments for the other companies to come out. From past experience I have found that when they tell you they will be there between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm, they will show up at 5:00 pm. It does not matter that you have spent the whole afternoon waiting around for them, or that you have taken time away from work. I feel it is more annoying than anything to spend the afternoon waiting around for someone to show up. Usually when they do show up they do have all the materials they need to get the job done. So at least you only have to wait around one time for each of them to show up before you have power, Phone service and your Clear Internet.
